How to Vote on EazyVote
Welcome to EazyVote, the modern voting system for school elections. Cast your vote securely, anonymously, and instantly. Let's see how it works!
Step 1: Enter the Polling Booth
When you arrive at the secure voting kiosk, the screen will display the name of your school's election.
- Start Command: To initiate your ballot, simply click or tap the large glowing "START VOTING" button in the center.
- Fullscreen Lock: The screen will automatically lock into full-screen mode to ensure privacy and focus.

Step 2: Choose Your Candidates
The screen will present each position (e.g., Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Secretary) one at a time.
- Progress Indicator: A progress bar at the very top of the screen shows how many positions you have voted for.
- Profile Details: Each candidate's profile displays their photo, full name, class/group, and symbol.

Step 3: Make Your Selection
To cast your vote for a candidate, simply click or tap anywhere on their candidate card.
- Tap to Select: Clicking a candidate card instantly records your selection for that position and transitions to the next position.
- Anonymity: Your choice is encrypted and sent anonymously. No login credentials or registration numbers are tied to your vote.

Step 4: Success & Beep
Once you make your choice for the final position, the system completes your ballot submission.
- Electronic Beep: You will hear a loud electronic beep sound signifying your vote has been successfully cast.
- Auto Reset: The "VOTE RECORDED" screen will show for 3.5 seconds, then reset to the starting screen for the next voter.

Important Guidelines
Please keep these security and operational guidelines in mind while voting:
- Strict Privacy: The polling booth is completely anonymous. The database records the vote tally, but not who voted for whom.
- Fair Play: Only approach the voting terminal when instructed by the polling officer. Do not exit fullscreen mode.
- Next Voter: Once the checkmark displays, step away from the booth immediately so the next student can vote.
